okay, looking at all the nice success stories and knowing it doesnt just come like that. I'm lookin into actually tryin this whole affiliate marketing thing out. If possible, anybody that can show me where to start from, know some of the basics as far as niche etc. Also, some sites for inspiration. I know of shoemoney.com which is great. Any help would be great. I've searched for this type of field, didnt really find anything. thanks.

More niche is great for affiliate help. Even if you aren't in the adult industry you can use the information for whatever niche you shoose. But, before you do anything, get a gameplan. Decide what niche you want to go after and devour all of the information you can about it. Do as much preliminary work as you can and it will pay off in the end. Good luck.
Much has been written recently about whether you should start with a niche that you have an interest in and passion for, or whether you should find one that is profitable. Personally I think you can do both. You will enjoy it more initially when you are not making money if it's an area that interests you. Regardless of what you decide to sell you are better off to become familar with the product, pre-sell it on a landing page, collect contact information on a capture form, import it into your autoresponder for future follow-up, and then pass your visitors through to your affiliate sales page.
