Where to start as a graphic designer?

Hi everyone,
So I want to build my porfolio and I'm willing to do good graphic, web, banner designs for low price, but I don't know where to offer my service? if anyone have an idea I'll appreciate it.

You can always start out on fiverr and build your portfolio by doing some work on there.

 

Fiverr is not a bad start, however, it does only get you $5 per gig to start off. For a more professional service, I would recommend freelancer to gain a bit more money. Get a good reputation and you will be doing more gigs in no time. Good luck.

start with the forums and freelance sites.
if you can team up with a developer, you may have a better luck getting few startup projects.

 

you can try themeforest or mojothemes which seem like good places for freelancers and beginners.

also, the best start from microjobs websites..

 

there are competitions here you can enter in... as mentioned by others, there are also jobs on fiverr, (you can charge like $50 for the psd, $5 would be just the .jpg file) and that will help you start your portfolio.
At the same time, if you are a graphic designer, you should have a portfolio created from when you went to university? Use this and your class projects to show to clients and just start earning from the get go

 

You could also offer your service on Ebay. Several years ago I purchased a logo creation service on Ebay. I think it was around $40.00
