So my sites have either PR3 or PR4 now and I want to monetize that by selling links. Where is the best place to do that and how much do you think I could get for them? I've tried selling on here but my thread just gets ignored and I don't think I'm overpricing them. $25 for one month on 2 PR4 and 3 PR3 .. seems pretty cheap to me. Anyway, any tips?
Text-link-ads.com And keep lowering the price on this forum.. Because people here on DP offer very cheap links.
Yeah I've noticed, don't fancy selling them so cheap that it's not worth the effort though. And TLA drives me mad. They never accept my sites. I could understand when I had PR0 but they still wont take them and say they review them however often but they never let me join
Hello Chris, One of the most successful methods of selling text links on my websites is actually using eBay. It seems like there are many people looking for links using ebay, and it is a good way to generate on-going advertising relationships.
havent tried ebay before...ill look into it DP is the fastest, but I usually make less money through DP sales.. TLA pays me well even with the crappy 50% cut.. check out linkworth too. I hear they are pretty good
Didn't think of eBay .. I'll see how much other people are selling them for on there. Will check out linkworth too
Ok, reduced prices to $20 for all 5 links for one month and posted some traffic figures. Let's see what happens ...
+1 for Text-link-ads.com They charge some commission, but I don't want spend my life selling links, so I'd prefer some automation, which Text-link-ads.com provides me with.
On ebay you can sell a link pr4 link $2 monthly more than on dp, but if you sell quality links on dp can sold all links in a day.
You can just use adbrite.com ... everything is pretty automated so there's little effort on your part.
I just have some thought about link exchange. Let's consider it from buyer viewpoint. So we ask him to pay money for 1 month link that will stay at your web-site. From buyer viewpoint it is not obvious, if this very site will work or not (in terms of traffic and PR improvement), customer need to try it first and probably then he will purchase a link for a months. So I'm going to release the strategy, when I sell a link with text-link-ads for a first two months, then if webmaster like the effect we could agree on longer terms and manage it without any broker (need to check if there might be any problems with text-link-ads agreement and policy). That sounds for me like a best way to sell links.
