    Hi there,

I want to know that is there any method to report a fraud on internet.

I gave a task of writing 25 articles to someone and he returned me only 9 original articles and 14 duplicated articles after passing the four days of deadline.

After that he hide himself on the yahoo messenger and did not communicated with me or never attend my phone. After sending many emails and messages he replied that he will do the work again. But again he supplied me cheated articles and wasted my time and money. I had to wrote all the articles myself.

He just copy pasted the articles and sent me. I came to know that he is also banned from the DP forum.

I can't use Paypal so I had to send him all the money in advance via western union. Overall he caused the loss of $150 to me.

I have his address, mobile number etc.

Please advice what can I do now to take some action against him. If I spare him, may be someone else will be his next victim.

    Please advice.

I will be really thankful for any help in this regard.

Probably your local police department would be a good place to start if you want to go that route.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for providing me information.

I want to know that can I report to his nearest police station via fax, phone or email. Would it be a better route to deal with this situation.

    Regards

Sad story. Sending money by Western Union is a first sign that you can't get them back by doing a chargeback since that is not possible in your case.

You probably also don't have a written contract with the article writer (or so called writer) to proove that you applied for his services and that he signed up an agreement of some sort. Or if you did, you'd be safe contacting a lawyer for further advice.

    Good luck.

If you had used Western Union Sorry Dude there is no other go.Keep it as a lesson
BTW filling a case on him a very risky. All that person needs to do is to file false report and you are in more danger than him
And are you two from same nationality?

Reporting it to your local police station would be a great idea. You can also try to file a complaint to the "Internet Crime Complaint Center". Check this out. It might help.

Yes police station might help you if both of you are from same nationality. But then try to avoid it without having any serious proofs.Since you did business for digital content i dont think its that much effective. All that person got to do is say "i finished my work"He may charge you for the false reporting too.If you have any agreement that is signed it may prove to be useful
