I have found a domain name which may be worth a lot. But i dont want to register in godaddy because I heard some horror stories of people losing domain names in there. I want great protection for my valuable domain name... Which one is the safest registrar as of now?

name cheap is good dont tell anyone your account name. if you want to tell some one your account name, create a second account, use second account name for business with other people, transfer to or get domains to that second account. transfer the domains names you want to be safe to your first account and keep the first account secret.

Name.com is good. Namecheap.com is also pretty good. Wherever you register, just don't look up your domain until the moment you are ready to proceed with registration. Also, once registered, keep it "locked". .
