Hi i am interested in registering several domain names for business purposes. Can anyone please provide their experiences with registering domain names with companies. I have spoke with namecheap and they seem like a reputable company. Can anyone provide some insight please, both good and bad thanks!

I go with GoDaddy ... they have very good tech support in case of problem ..

I'm not going to save money on domains and after that cry when I get some major problem ...

    Cheers,

GoDaddy has always been great for me. I have more than 300 domains with them and have never been dissatisfied with their registration services.

Here at DP you will get recomended two registrars, namecheap and godaddy.
They are both ok. The really big difference is that goddady have a control panel that is really bad and an arrogant customer support. Namecheap is easy to work with.

i spoke with namecheap and they seemed very helpful. do i ever have to worry about buying a domain and then somehow losing it through them being incompetent? does this kind of stuff ever happen? i view the domains as an investment for our company so i would just like to get as much info as possible thanks everyone for the input!

I love dotster.com, great user panel and excellent customer service. I tried to transfer all my sites away from dotster too a cheaper at the time place (godaddy) and dotster counter offered me a lifetime registration rate package that was amazing! So needless to say im staying with dotster for the long haul!
