I registered a .ca domain a month ago with Registerfly but they suck, lots of the problems and I can't use the domain, even now the whois status showing the domain is still available. So does anyone know other place where I can register a .ca domain for a reasonable price?
Is it true that only canadian allowed to register .ca? When I tried to create an account at 10dollar.ca I couldn't choose other country than canada for my address (I'm not a canadian and I don't live in canada). I've checked godaddy, I don't think they offer .ca registration.
http://www.netfirms.ca/ I am canadian and I use this company to register my domains. good luck.... Life is short..........
My friend recommended netfirms for dotcoms, and it appears they're also a price leader on .CA . 9.95 a year. resgiterfly sucks, btw, and gets your good expiring domains if you forget to renew.
I have bought several hundred .ca's and have tried several different .ca registrars. Namespro is the best one in my opinon. (I think price is $12.88). There are lower priced registrars around the $10 range but the extra couple $ is worth it when you realize they answer all emails promptly (nice when you're dealing with the cumbersome .ca process). They also have decent domain management features. I have no affiliation with these folks other than the fact that I like doing biz with them (I move all my .ca's there). Give them a shot. Also, someone earlier asked if anyone can register .ca's. They can *sort of*. If you're a canadian citizen, it's automatic, but if not you could always open a biz (register a corp) to do it. Always happy to hear from anyone investing in canadian names. I've increasingly bought more of these myself.
zefefre You have some serious problems. You need some professional help. Please stay off these forums. If you don't know what I'm referencing you truly are a lost cause. Again get some professional help. Your attempt at humour is vile and grossly misplaced.
Ok... I dont understand the last comment but to answer your question try: www.easycgi.com I registered my .ca with them.. great service.
What do you mean I have serious problem and why should I stay off these forums dbinto? I just ask some info about .ca domain registration. If you refer to my avatar, its a screenshot from a funny hongkong film I saw long ago. What so serious about that? BTW, does anyone know how to change the 2 years term of registration in namespro.ca?
Ok at least you see the problem. Yes its serious. Context. I'll assume you're a younger person so here's some insight. MAYBE if you where in a forum discussing that specific hong kong movie it would be ok. But at Digital Point that reference is so lost on anyone that avatar is vile and disgusting. VILE and DISGUSTING understand that point. Please consider this as an accurate comparison of what you are doing. Would you wear a t-shirt with that term into a room where you didn't know everyone. Especially if you were trying to get some help with a business or position yourself as someone who should be taken serious. Do you think that first impression that you delivered would help you in ANY manner. You'd likely be taken aside by someone and shown the door or even worse. So its serious and its vile and disgusting. Enough said and good luck with that .ca reg.
Come on, you shouldn't compare it with real life thingy, it's totally different. Ok I got your point, I don't wanna argue with you, forget about my avatar I've changed it.
