where to put youtube video on a page?

is it better to put in on the top of the page before the content or after the content?

i want my visitors to stay as long as possible on my page.

It would be better if the content first before the video. Takes a lot of time for them to read your content = They stay as long as possible.

You can put it in the middle, then people can read before and after watch video. You can announce it before and write your opinion after.

According to me create a new "Sample Page" of your videos and create a link to the homepage which was redirected to your sample page.
