Where to promote web directory

Hi guys, i ahve this question, where can i promote my web directoy? I actually are promoting only in Digital Point forum (here).

 

On forums for webmasters of course
DP, v7n, http://www.webmaster-talk.com/, etc.

Also you can buy some sitewide links on other directories.

I suggest you buy the DirectorySubmitter software, then contact the owner to get your web directory listed there.

I did so and got lots of traffic as a result.
