Hi all, I like to ask a question about promotion of a fun & entertainment related site. I run 2 sites actually. One is art & design inspiration and I can easily promote it by submitting links to design related social bookmarking sites and blogs but my other site that is all about funny jokes, pictures and bizarre stories I don't know how to promote it. All I do is submit links on reddit, digg, stumbleupon and twitter but there should be some more ways to promote my site. How do you promote this kind of site?

It doesn't have to be a specific place - it can be bits and pieces of everything. Mostly I would recommend search engine traffic. Check out the links in my signature space and this link - increase website traffic. Its plenty to get you going.

This is a great way to allow your users to promote your site for free - and helps you drive members through the use of images. Also - are you targeting sites through Google adwords or Project wonderful? Project wonderful lets you select websites that you want to advertise on - there's a lot of entertainment/gaming sites listed.
Blog commenting a perfect way just look for blog commenting sites that is fit and related to your site.
