Where to promot new blogs?

    It is not good to promote when your contents are not ready to be promoted. You said that you are just starting out on blogging and I assume that you don't have much articles.

    Maybe you can try a less aggressive approach by commenting on other blogs.

    1. Write few quality articles(at least ten 400+ words long articles).
    2. Submit them in social bookmarking services.
    3. Wait for google to index them.
    4. Submit them in article directories.

    My way to promote new blogs is write quality articles and wait for Google to index me in 30 mins. and then wow, i am on top of search results..I also use Stumbleupon. I've also hit digg's frontpage 4-5 times and got lot of traffic..my blog got banned after that from digg..lol.
