Correct. You can't just buy your way in.

And what about this? *** We understand that some people may want to utilize the marketplace without contributing anything useful to the site, so we offer an alternative route of doing so (you can purchase premium membership).

You should be able to post in the forum with premium membership. When was the last time you logged in?

If this is your first login after DP converted to Xenforo then you will need to wait an hour for the system to update its permissions.

IDK. Thought I had heard that you still had to be an established member. Only way to know is to go check I guess. Go to the link below and see if you can start a thread. Let me know if you can, and that I was wrong if that be the case.

    thanks.

    edit:
Just read the page again and it looks as if you can buy your way in.
That's disappointing. (not about you specifically)

I don't know if I particular like this way of putting it. People not wanting to contribute anything useful, but want to pay...
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

It was put in place to fight spam so if you want to spam you have to pay to...
    I guess...

Well... I would *vastly* prefer users to post something good enough to get 3 likes vs. buy premium membership... but if someone *must* get into Buy/Sell/Trade right away, they can... and I would assume spammers aren't going to pay (and if they start to, we'll reevaluate that).
