    Aside from PRNewswire and other commercial services, what are some places to post a press release about a new product? I'm thinking I could pitch a story to blog writers, newsletters, etc. Any other ideas or specific suggestions?

    FYI the topic has to do with a product for running web site A/B tests and optimizing landing pages. The objective of posting the release would be to spread the word and also help with SEO efforts (i.e. backlinks).

    PRWeb will be stronger than PRNewswire for generating backlinks. PRNewswire should be better for garnering media attention however.
