Hello all, I have a question to all the brainy ones out there :p

When I'm putting keywords on my website (coded in php) is it best to put a lot of keywords on the header file so there on every page or just my index file???

    OR

on every file but only put keywords that are related to that page?

    Thanks for helping

generally you need to place keywords in the top most right of your page itself

    AND

make sure they appear in the top area of the page source

The main keywords on every page is better. It is more subtile, to put an alt tag with proper keywords on the logo image, rather then just plug in the desired keywords.

Hi there you put your keywords in the Meta Tags both description and keywords, in your overall content on the site, in your anchor text for internal linking, anchor text for external linking, if you can in your domain name, in your URL name, there are loads of places to put your keywords.

You will have to put the keywords in title tag, meta keyword tag, and meta description tag. Not more than four keywords or 70 characters with title tag please.

This is the most common places
    - meta tag (only for Google not for yahoo)
    - title (this is most important)
    - header (H1, H2...)
    - first word of your first paragraph (make sure that the search engine reads first this, and not Navigation menu and sort thing)
    - and last but not least, your last word of your page should be your keyword

Best is, to focus 1 keyword per page.

Title and H1 tags near the top of your doc ... plus keywords must be specific to the page/data on which they are placed. Thems the rulez !

    Hi,

keywords are the KEY for getting traffic and of course
the revenue one intended to make. It would be best
on the right hand top corner, possibly on every page
if your site / blog is running into pages.

    best of luck,

    regards.
