Where to meet affiliates?

Hi guys,

we as a Network usually attend the big conferences like Affiliate Summit, Online Marketing Summit etc. but there we usally only meet other Networks.

I think if one wants to improve a business relationship, or make new partnerships it is important to meet face to face with the affiliates, it is always nicer to know who you are working with.
But are there any good events/conferences where webmasters actually meet? I mean if I just google something like "webmaster conference" I get 17 milion results.
So I figured the possible best and simplest solution is to ask here
I am interested in US, as well as European conferences, so if you know good ones please let me know.

 

It's slightly different, but there will be a pubcon converence in New Orleans in April. Sounds like it will be jam-packed with good speakers and events. I was thinking about going there but it's yet to be seen: http://www.pubcon.com/pubcon-new-orleans-2013

 

As far as Europe is concerned I know of the UK - to an extent. Come to the London Lunch, then go from there. No I don't run this nor am I an associate or friend or anything of the guy that runs it. But I've been to the London Lunch and I know it's an excellent place for you to start as far as the UK is concerned. It may for all I know be your ideal jumping off point for the rest of Europe...

 

You might want to contact Sam England on the Warrior Forum. He helps setup several events where people from that forum get together every year. Not sure if anyone is doing a similar thing for DP Members or not.

That would be awsome if i was able to attend something like that too. It's rare to have friends in the affiliate marketing arena since it's very "unconventional" lol.. at least for me that is
