Where to learn about MVC in php

    Hello, I want to learn about MVC in php but I dont want to learn about cakePhp or other frameworks.

    I need a book where I can learn how to create a good templating system, to separate html from php in the best way possible, like Model-View-Controller but I cannot find any, I've searched amazon, nothing, only books bases on cake, igniter and other frameworks. :(

    Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot.
