Where to host Wordpress?

    I am ready to move on from blogger to wordpress. Where should I host my new blog? Which hosting company is wordpress friendly? I post about 7-10 days a month, so I don't need some high-flying feature-rich hosting account. Some startup, basic hosting will do.

    I think you just need a host that supports PHP and MySQL.

    i host all six of my wordpress blogs at the hosting company in my signature link. Have not had any problems and the service has been good ...

    Most any vaguely competent webhost should be fine to host a WordPress site.

    A couple of recommendations:

    www.akashik.net - US
    www.clook.net - UK

    Just personal recommendations, though you're frankly spoiled for choice here.

    I signed up for a 1.95/month plan at www.mphosting.net just to see what I could get out of cheap hosting. You can install wordpress through cpanel with them. Just click and go. I was dubious of a 2 dollar a month plan that had mysql but it seems to be holding up for what little I am doing with it.
