Where to go on vacation

I have been thinking about going on vacation for the past few months. Some of the choices that came up were going to Dominican Republic, or Peru, South America or maybe Europe. Still very undecided. Looking for the ultimate vacation place.

I appreciate the offer, and Altought I have been tho many of the spots I mentioned, I have never been to Costa Rica. My cousin works in San Jose, he loves it there, in fact I have a place to stay down there but, I was thinking about going places that are more interesting.

Unless you go to a protected resort, many of the poor countries will subject visitors to banditos and pirates.

Be careful as some areas of those countries have no police and are run by criminal mobs, kidnapping is rampant in Mexico and in many South American countries.

Just be careful and do your due diligence before you travel.

Mexico City is filled with kidnapping gangs and so are many of the places you both have mentioned

Heh, I have been to many parts of the world and never had a problem, as long as you mind your own business you OK, happens to be I feel at home werever I go. I was just in Monterrey Mexico and had no problems, I was told not to go to the Federal Distric, since is filled with thiefs though. I live my own experiences being careful. Thanks for the advice.

The mafia gangs have turned from drugs to kidnapping, they even kidnap poor folks with little money.

Executives have to hire armed guards to try to avoid being kidnapped it is such a big business in that part of the world now.

Americans are prime targets for these gangs.

Since I'm from Germany, I'ld recommend Europe ;-)
But if I were you, I wouldn't come here (Germany), because it's pretty cold right now. I would prefer going to the southern European countries.

If you don't want to go to Europe, I heard that Brazil is supposed to be a very nice and beautiful country...

    Hey Monsieur,

I was at Dusseldorf at the Drupa convention last May, I had the opportunity to travel to other cities such as Frankfurt, Cologne, Stutgardt, Heidelberg, etc, tec, I love Germany. While there I rented a car and drove to the surrounding countries, went to Holland, Sweden, Luxemburg, France, Belguim, etc. It was great. I have Family in Heidelberg, been there a few times and also have friends in Manheim. I can't wait to go back again.

    Greetings

Leaving for Amsterdam myself tomorrow, should be worth checking out. I suggested having a look at other parts of the Netherlands too. Even Denmark.
