I read with interest folks earning $100 per day upwards from Adwords and alike. To generate that kind of income there must be some traffic going to these web sites!! Where does this traffic come from and how do I get decent levels of traffic to my site? More than 100 unique visitors a day consistently would be excellent! Would like to learn more about getting decent traffic please.
You must do some good SEO on your websites in order to get good rankings in search engines.Most of the traffic usually comes from search engines.Also advertising and link exchange will bring traffic too. Good luck!
AdWord sites are usually content based webpages that receive their traffic through regular search engines. Google loves blogs and feeds off of fresh content updated daily. It takes awhile to build a good stream of traffic and takes a lot of effort to keep churning out unique content while generating traffic through backlinks and SEO. Once you have it, it's a ton easier though.
Ok I accept that but surely that isnt enough? Reading a recent post about a guy earning $6,000 per month from a Blog site it just doesnt seem possible to generate enough traffic from simply getting good ranking on search engines and a few back links
Ummm... a quick suggestion for the OP. Why not do your research first, and then ask any questions after that? It would appear that you are a comple n00b, similiar to myself. However, I have been relatively quiet for the first few weeks, instead taking the time to READ and soak up everything I can like a SPONGE. Considering you said you heard some people make $100 / day from Adwords, I doubt you have done much research. Adwords actually costs money, and is a form of PPC advertising. You write your own ads, and you pay everytime someone clicks them. So this is in and of itself a way to get traffic to your site. DOH! Just to let you know that your figure is a little off, some people actually make a LOT more than $100 / day via contextual advertising and affiliate marketing. This guy makes about $10k / day. OMG! Try harder.
Ummm.... Thanks for your kind words. I 'READ' everything that is going thanks. This is how I found out about the guy earning $6k per month from his Blog. I am aware of Adwords and how PPC works also. My question is how these guys get 10s of thousands of hits to generate this significan income. I accept that being #1 for porn will generate a reasonable amount of income but there aint too many people out there #1 for the keyword porn is there. Most of the run of the mill Adsense sites are no where to be seen on google for what would appear to be their target keywords yet they still make money.
Just a reality check: It usually takes at least 1000 visitors a day to make anywhere near 100 dollars a day (I get more visitors than that, and less income). The only way to get to that: create unique content, build quality links, be patient and repeat. Some say that to get mind-share, it is also a good idea to use adwords (not adsense) to advertise your blog or whatever it is. But mindshare won't help if what you offer isn't quality stuff.
About 90% of my traffic is comming from forums now... I am still working at my seo traffic building. I just started my site about a week ago, it been hard, but worth it.
One thing I can assure you is that no one here or anywhere is making $100 a day from adsense with only 100 uniques a day. To get to your main point, start getting some relevant links from similar sites to your site. You could head over to the link exchange section of the forum.
Well, apparently not. You said you want to know how some people make $100/day from Adwords. You can't make any money from Adwords, you PAY them to run your ad campaigns. Stop owning yourself and try to get more learned.
First of all, did you mean Adsense? Because, if you really meant Adwords, the people are generating traffic directly from their Adword ads to their website and selling either their own products/services, or re-directing traffic to an affiliate site. And, depending on how well you understand Adwords, how well you can create your ads, and how carefully you select your keywords, then... you'll start getting traffic to your sites immediately. Hi kh7, This is not a knock on you, but... I just wanted to point out that if you or somebody else is receiving 1000 unique visitors per day, and based on a minimum 2% conversion rate, you should realistically be making a minimum 20 sales per day. Even if at a rock-bottom 1% conversion rate that would still be 10 sales per day. And, if you're directing them to an Adsense site, you need to tweak it until you start getting the results you should be getting. 1,000 people a day is nothing to sneeze at. Hope that helps you. Try to focus on making your site SEO friendly and optimize for the keywords that you are looking for. In the short term, you might not see a big jump in traffic, however, in the long term, it will pay off.
A easy and cheapest way to get traffic to your website is joing forums and use the link of your website.
