Where To Get Traffic Stats (for particular pages of a Website)?

    Hi all,

I found a website in my niche and I would like to advertise on it. Now, before I do, I would like to know if the website has enough traffic to be worthwhile. I looked on Alexa, and they only give traffic details for the whole website. The thing is, I only want to advertise on 1 or 2 particular pages (and the website has hundreds of pages overall).

Hence, I would like to know if it is possible to view traffic stats for particular pages on a website? If so, where can I obtain this data?

    Any help appreciated! :)

    Brett

Sign up for Google Analytic, get the code and ONLY paste it on the page you are targetting.

    Its easy.
You can directly contact the website owner and ask them to sent you their daily traffic.
From there you can see which page get the most traffic.

If you have a google account, sign up for the Google Analytic service. It will give you detailed traffic stats. Such as how many hits a month your site is getting, and which pages are getting the most traffic.

Besides total traffic, Google Analytic also displays bounce rate, source of traffic, average time on site and average page views per visit. So if your wondering how many hits a certain page is getting, it will show that to you as well.

    Thanks for the replies :)

No, it's not my webpage. It's someone else's.

Really? So theres no websites like Alexa that can tell me? If so looks like I'll have to give that a go, thanks!

Have a look at this page ;)

One or two of the suggestions there may help you get stats on a site/page you don't own. If that doesn't work then the only option is to try and interpret data from places like Alexa, Quantcast etc.

My favorite is statcounter.com. There is a free account.

And I do love awstats which comes as part of my hosting account.
