My website focuses on home improvement and sustainable architecture. I feel like the site offers great info but i'm not sure if it's something that people seek out on a daily basis or if it's just a trend niche. tell me what you think and visit my site @ www.DomesticDIY.com

A Squidoo lens would do you good! Like, if you have specialized in a particular niche then it would be really good to look for the most searched keywords in that niche. The next step is to build a nice Squidoo lens around the most targeted keywords.

Mind you that it is not only keywords that you have to focus on. A well structured, relevant and thought provoking content is a MUST! From then on, it will only take some time for people to find it.

You can also advertise and spread your lens around by including it in your signature when writing on forums and blogs that are covering the same topic. Hope, this helps! Best of Luck, mate! I hope that you will keep us updated on this. Will be interested to hear about your progress.

I agree with turbulence. Squidoo lenses would be excellent for driving traffic to your site. You could make several lenses with each one focussing on a specific aspect of DIY. This would be better than a lens about the site itself. Get good Squidoo URLs and use a combination of single word and tag phrases that people would type into search engines when looking for such information.
