I started a new top website list and would like to start getting members. I guess it's like starting a forum...no one wants to be the first. It seems like webmaster forums would be a good place to start but I haven't received much interest. Does anyone know of other places to find new members? If you run several sites of your own, you could simply add those. If you don't, something else you could do is start new ones, you could simply create some blogs on Blogger/WordPress.com or any other sites offering free blog hosting. It would also help if your toplist would be somewhat topical, getting sites in the same theme would be easier in that case. Not to mention it may also be more profitable for you, long-term.
