Where to get local business listings for local directory for cheap?

    I've been looking to get business listings pertaining to my local area. I've looked at some companies but they charge a little above $1,000 for 8,000 listings with name, address, and phone #. Is there anyway to get this for real cheap?

    Any sites that you can recommend would be great
