Yeah, I am requiring them to sign an NDA before I reveal any info first. Also I doubt I can patent an idea that may be illegal in the UK lol.
Non-Disclosure Agreement. It means all information is confidential and the receiving party cannot disclose the information discussed to anyone else, or copy, distribute the idea in any way.
I see... so this could prohibit them from copying the idea too if ever you fail to come-up an agreement? Nice, I will do the same in the future to protect my intellectual property too..thanks
A NDA means nothing to some people and they will be willing to steal your idea and you would have to spend thousands sueing them and then they might be in a country where a NDA means very little especially if your idea is in a grey area.
Well I think you cannot say or claim that idea unless it is published? What if other people will publish that before you? Seems NDA cannot help in this case?
I have the idea registered at authomark.com which protects ideas by providing solid proof as to when you 'thought up' the idea.
But the point is that you will run your businessin UK or USA so even you host your site there then I think it doesnt matter
You will be running a legitimate online biz so I think you need to have your own lawyer who could give you a financial and legal advices...
Hey kid, Dont do stupid stuff. That kind of pirate/illegal idea do not make money, just problems. What do you think to see the sun again when you become 38 ?
Prepaid Legal (if in USA) is around $20/month. This post is more for others benefit since you are in the UK. These aren't "blue chip" lawyers but will be able to point you in the right direction. Once you get serious you will probably want to get top dollar advice (from an internet lawyer specialist) but you can get good advice from these guys. I've had a subscription for around 2 years and have used them dozens of times. Good for all kinds of general advice. Great for looking over contracts for you to make sure all i's are dotted and t's are crossed.
1. This is not pirating music. 2. Do not call me kid because I am not a 'kid'. 3. You have no idea what kind of site it is, and yes it does have possible revenue streams. Thanks for that, do they have a website?
http://www.prepaidlegal.com/ <-- non-affiliiate They are publically traded, if that makes you feel any better
