    Hi,

I need some sport images (cricket) for my website. Images of players and so on. Where can I easily get them from? I don't want to get any problems with copyright and so on, so it has to be a reliable source. I want to get all the rights for the images. Paid or unpaid

    Thanks for your advice

flickr definitely is NO resource for legal images. I found stolen images and I found members stealing stolen images ... thus flickr may be the safest way to invite a heavy lawsuit for copyright infringement!

OWNERS or professional/active photographers are difficult to imagine as displaying their work on flickr. photographers/owners publish on their own real web site rather than on free sites such as flickr or blog sites.

the cheapest way to earn money with images always is to make them yourself. for a few thousand $ a year you get thousands of images - add another few thousand $ for a professional camera/lens outfit and you are good to make profits from image publishing.

dreamstime.com is a great place to get LEGAL images. I would check it out.

For my pet website I ask readers to send in their photos and it always works, especially if I run a pet of the month competition when the submissions are low.

HMM I gave all your tips a try. Thank you first of all.
Do you know more updated sites like gettyimages.com (it is quite expensive) I need pictures of cricket stars or after international games. Do you know sites were I can get these images from without getting in any trouble?

use sxc.hu - one of the best free images resource.
