Well im trying to get traffic towards my forum through Youtube, Other Forums but its not working. What can i do to get my forum active and free traffic? Thanks!
I just wrote about a simple way you can get traffic with Yahoo Answers -- HERE. Here's another way... Figure out who your customer is (what kind of people will want to sign up to your forum) -- the niche. Then find them on YouTube. Click "Browse Categories"--"More"--"Recent Videos" ...You want to find the newest videos in your niche without a lot of comments already. Make a comment like, "I really enjoyed watching your video...blah, blah, blah" Make your comment about 2 sentences. Chances are good they will check out your channel, and potentially join your forum. Not as targeted, but you may also want to check out... 1. Twiends.com (you can follow people on Twitter for YouTube views) 2. ViewTubeTrain.com 3. Viewit.com Good luck!
Blog commenting, Article Directory and try Social Media traffics like facebook fanpage, twitter and etc.
try to populate your forum with good number of threads and posts, give enough content to crawlers to index a lot of your forums pages you will start getting search engine traffic which is best and free, what all you need is good and helpful content and it will be even more good if its unique
You should join some social networks and search for the keyword to Google ''Free traffic directories'' Don't use manual surf and auto surf sites cause your site will go down to rankings. Also look at adzly.com
im a youtube vlogger myself, the best way to get it out there is to make a certain video of somthing funny and as soon as u get more subs, start off with the serious stuff
what i did to get my forum busy after a month was commenting a blog. since my forum is about computers. then i started posting comments to tech blog with threads links in my forum.
Be there where people are spending most of their time like Facebook ,Digg,business boards,etc..participate in relevant sites,share your knowledge,give freebies like ebook containing your ad on the pages which can further be distributed .SEO is a slow process but it will have long term result.
