Where to get free stock images?

I use sxc.hu and they've been great so far

I used to work with sxc.hu myself, Now Iv got some more options.

 

http://us.fotolia.com/ is very cheap and their images are great. Sorry not entirely free though.

 

istockphoto has good quality, but it's not free.

Want celebrity, movie scenes, etc photos - current popular pic: avatar and T. Woods LOL - for free? http://www.picapp.com/ tried to solve this copyright issue. The trade off is there will be ads around the embedded pics. They also have wp plug in. It's good for content publishers/bloggers.

what's wrong with DA and flickr? there are plenty of free images creative commons on there? (they do need an attribution) or are we just talking about completely free images that are not creative commons either?
