Where to get free stock images?

Hello, I'm starting as desginer, that means I dont have the money to buy a good membership on a stock image site, I'm doing small jobs, but I need some images that won't have copyright issues.

I'm looking for a good stock image site.

I use Stock.XCHNG (you'll have to google it becuase I can't post links yet!)

Also consider taking your own photos

my favorites are: sxc.hu, morguefile.com and photl.com free to use in commercial and personal projects. canstockphoto.com is a very affordable pay site,around $5 per photo. hth

 

Deviant Art has a section for stock images. Check it out cause there is some really cool ones to use.

I find photl.com and sxc.hu are decent enough.

morguefile.com is my favorite also. Try searching on Google for "royalty free stock images" and you should get some good results.

sxc.hu is the largest free stock image site

 

i only search on google or yahoo. they will give you wide variety of sites to choose from.
