Where to get free Backlinks?

Getting natural links is not an easy option if your niche is very specific. But you should try to find the blogs that allow commenting and guest posts. It definitely helps to get ranked over a period of time for even competitive keywords.

 

bashishtha, thank you for starting this thread and for being such a vocal participant in the discussion! I'm enjoying the responses. I am surprised that people still do so much blog commenting. I wasn't sure if this was still a useful technique for linking building.

 

Comment backlinks are easy but finding blogs that allow dofollow comment is hard...and finding blogs that allow guest post of same niche is hard to find for few niche. But if you get some of these then you can defiantly rank higher in SERPs

Commenting is one of the easiest way for link building. Anyone can comment without registering so everyone goes for it and tries it.

 

If you want to increase your backlinks you have to do the follow in such as:
Bookmarking
Social Media
Forums Posting
Directory Submission
Blog Comment
Article Submission

 

I have been through these all but according to my experience in SEO I will suggest you to try creating accounts on different mailing sites which is easy to find and easy to use you can save your URl in the signature form and that will be a plus point as when the crawler will crawl your site link will be there and that will be as back link.

 

Make sure that your links have proper anchor text. Anchor text of links should be those keywords which you are targeting for optimization.

 

But we should not use the same anchor text again and again because if we do so it will look like spam to Google

 

directory submission, Article submisison, Blog Submission and Google+ , get Back link from these.

 

Most of the methods of creating blog is free there is no doubt to it, what I would say that you need to choose quality sites, if you are doing article submission then post quality articles on quality article directories, it would help of course!

 

Hi Mike till now no one was focusing on Quality. Thank you for adding this in this discussion. I also believe that 1 quality backlink from same niche is much much better than hundreds or thousands of spamming backlinks.

I prefer blog comment most. You can also get free backlink by Writing guest post, writing in Forums etc.

 

SEO is not dead because if there is no seo there will be no link building, no High page rank. SEO is changed totally instead of making more cheap backlinks make less quality backlinks. That is what Google is saying, every search engine wants to show quality search results to user, which are relevant to that searched keyword. so you have to make sure that every submission you do is in relevant category with fresh quality content.

Me to agree with u because many seo are in forums are one of the reason was for building back links

 

SEO is not dead, but you just have to be smart where you put your time. Submitting to quality hand edited directories is one of them.
