I am looking for a company that makes double sided full color business cards.. i found: http://www.colorprintingwholesale.com/print/Business-Cards.html and they seem to be a good price but what about quality? anyone have any suggestions for where to get business cards? thanks!
VistaPrint can make good cards, but their shipping costs really add to the cost. Beware of their free cards, unless you want an ad for VistaPrint on the back of all your cards
Well I have seen Vista Print.com, I have not ordered from them but heard great things and seen a few business using them and there not bad. I have also heard of printingforless.com another place to try is http://kinkos.com/ Hope this helps.
Actually you need to decide whether you want commercial printing (litho) or sublimation. Also the size is important. For example VistaPrint rule the internet for business cards through clever marketing. Their product is good but not standard 2 x 3 1/2" business card size, not litho printed and they do not offer heavy weight glossy stock like the site you were already looking at (.014 pt). If you understand and accept that they are your best bet. From their site. From VistaPrint's site I have actually been in commercial printing for 30+ years. A couple months ago I queried Google for "business card printing" and did a manual review on the top 5 sites (with video) that may help you. Most importantly you pay for what you get. We sell 4 color business cards that are litho printed for $61.00/500. If you want a link to our price calculator just tell me on this thread and I'll PM it to you. If not...pay extra for real litho, in the long run they will stand up longer than any non litho printed card. I can also see that the site you are on sell UV and AQ coating, also a wise choice for card longevity and color enhancement. Good luck H
libertygone, Have you tried/priced any local printers in Seattle? I used to use online printers, and their prices were good, but the cards always left something to be desired when I received them...whether it was the print quality or paper quality, they never quite looked as good as they did online. Two years ago I went to my local printer. I was amazed at how competitive her prices were compared to online...a bit more expensive, but I could view proofs and touch "quality" before I ordered. I doubt if I'll ever go back to online printers again. Jim
I have actually heard that a lot of the big box stores like Staples have been giving pretty good prices. I have heard good things in the past though on VistaPrint.
