Hey everyone, I am building a membership site using a membership management plugin, but I need to know where I can find some wordpress themes that are made for a membership type sites? Any ones will help, Thanks!
I have never actually seen a theme specifically for a "Membership" site. any site can be a membership site, actually every site is a membership site.. it doesn't need to have a special theme. There must be something specific that you are looking for. IF you are planning a membership site, and you are not using Buddypress, you can use any theme you want. It's the functions and how you have them set up that make it one way or another.
What type of membership are you looking at? Do you want a paid membership or free membership or community or social networking? Anyway it will be good if someone here can provide a list of good membership plugin as I'm into membership stuff as well
There are tons of themes out there and you don't necessarily need one directed towards a membership site. What I would do is first create a new page for the home page of my theme. There I will decribe what it's all about and if they want to then add the membership script within that page. Now when they pay, the are redirected to your actual WP Blog page that was once the "home" page before you created the new home/membership page. It' really easy, you can have any theme you want...it's all about creating that new home page!
