For a site I am setting up (big tangle in signature) I need articles on a wide range of subjects. I've looked through quite a few article sites but most articles listed seem pretty uninteresting, like they were written by people who didn't really care about the subject / didn't bring a personal touch. Am I looking in the wrong places? What is the best place to find really good articles? or should I just use RSS feeds, talk directly to good bloggers etc? Cheers
The general idea is that if an article is interesting and well written, people will want to read it even if it is not a subject they are (yet) interested in. So I want a range of articles that make people think 'I'd like to read that, I'll learn something new' - kind of like a general information magazine. In principle that will make people remember / come back to the site. So the subject of the articles is less important than their quality. Every subject from SEO, to the history of dinosaurs can be interesting if well written. I came across 'articleinside.com' yesterday which seems to have the same general approach - articles written by enthusiasts - although I don't think their articles are for distribution.
there's articledepot.co.uk and articlecat.com and they both look good but I'm new to the article finding game myself.
