Where to Find Someone to Make me an Ebook?

Where is a good place to find an expert in a particular topic to research and make me an ebook?

As far as putting the actual ebook together I know it's easy to find someone, but I was looking for a good place to hire someone to research and put together the information itself for me.

I want the book to go on Clickbank eventually so it needs to be professionally done, I don't want to hire someone from Scriptlance for $50 that does poor work.

The market I was looking to go after is the DIY market if that helps at all. I was thinking of Guru.com but not sure if there's a better place to look.

    Thanks for your help everyone.

You can post your requirements in the Services section of DP and you can find some quality writers there.

In the services section, freelance websites (eLance, oDesk, Guru, etc, etc) or at WF.

I'd have to recommend Odesk if you're after something like this.

You should be able to find somebody to do a high quality job for a pretty good rate.

    Goodluck!

Thanks everyone. Here's the thing though...I forgot to mention this in my original post.

What I would need done would require someone with an expertise in drawing up plans. I don't want to reveal my exact niche here but it's similar to the Woodworking plans ebook that's on Clickbank right now. So the process wouldn't be as simple as going out on the net and only doing research. They would need to know exactly how to draw up construction plans for this product so that it will teach people how to do it themselves. There will need to be diagrams, exact measurements, materials required, etc.

Am I able to find someone like this on elance or odesk or any of those places or do you think I should look for someone who actually does CAD and draws up plans for a living?

    Thanks again.

If you want really good content, then the best bet would be to hire someone who actually does CAD for a living. I'm sure there are plenty of good CAD designers out of work right now (bad economy) who would like to make a quick buck. Perhaps you could post a job ad somewhere? I would also think that there are a lot of online forums for CAD - it should be easy to find someone there.

I recommend rentacoder.com. Through that site (or any freelance site really), you can specify woodworking experience as requirements and demand samples before making a hiring decision.

It's actually really easy to create an ebook yourself.

To find content for it start by searching yahoo answers for the top questions on the topic that you want to model the ebook after.

Best to start with the top 10 common questions take for instance if it's dog training then you can take a question like: "How Do I stop my dog from peeing on my friends?" and change that question into a statement like: "How To Stop Your Dog Peeing On Your Friends" then that becomes a title for a chapter of your ebook, the content for that chapter would be the answer to that question.

You do that for about 10 questions and you would have 10 chapters create a title page, table of contents, and a resources page and you are set.

If you don't want to write the content yourself you can still do the yahoo answer research then you have a clear idea of what you would want a writer to create for you.

    Hope that helps.
