There seems to be loads of "script" sites, when I search, but I'm looking for one like CodeCanyon that has reasonable pricing and Live previews. Any suggestions appreciated.

I trust github/phpclasses. Usually those are packed with solid projects. They don't have demos most of the times thou but they are free.

you can google 'your script niche + demo' keywords in Google and you are gonna find many companies offering software with demo... or free trial
