    Hello,

I am curious where these designers get images for a website they design.

Most of the professional images are purchased from iStock or someplace such as that (I believe you buy a certain amount of credits in exchange for downloads).

DeviantArt.com have a decent stock section which is mostly free, but obviously the pictures aren't always of as good a quality.

I am planning to create a website where i would sell templates.

I have find that in istock or gettyimages are very expensive 350 USD a image in istock, I cant afford these to put in website templates.

Also I am not sure either they allow in website templates or not.

I also use http://sxc.hu. It is a free stock photography site. It is pretty hit or miss though when it comes to quality. Occasionally I will find something I need there but iStock is the best when it comes to great stock.

Try www.fotolia.com - their pictures are quite reasonably priced and for pictures in templates, you don't need a high DPI image and with Fotolia, their prices are based on the quality of the image you wish to purchase.

There's a lot of free stock photography out there. Simply Googling and you will get a lot of free stock provider list, don't forget to read the copyright licensed.

Thats true but many don't allow to resell through templates.

I am planning to create a website like templatemonster.com

Where templates would be for sell, dont know whether the stock image providers would allow it in templates or not.

Hello, I think if you're a prob business webmaster you're first choice will be images stock sites such istockphoto or something like that ( you normally buy photos but you can find something for free ) . If not, you can find pictures easily on google or Msn images .
