hi, i got a question. yesterday i loaded a adwords campaign for some trademark keywords targeting Germany. my ads was put on hold as of the violation of some policy in relation to trademark terms. i lost my time and energy on waiting and waiting ending up giving up my ads plan. my wish is that is there a way i can check if my chosen keywords can be advertised, not after long time waiting, but before i put on my ads. thanks in advance. rodger
There is no published list as far as I know. It wouldn't help anyway as the list changes daily and likely contains tens of thousands of keywords. Rule of thumb: always assume that you cannot use a trademark term in your ad. Most large companies will not want their trademarks to appear in ads and have asked Google to make sure they don't, unless the advertiser is exempted. The only way to truly know is to create such an ad. The system will let you know right away. If a trademarked word is added later that is in your ad, your ad will become disapproved. I've had that happen after the ad had been running for many months.
There is no way to tell, unless you go to adwords system straight and try to use the keyword in the ads themselves. It's unfortunate but we have to live with it for now
Have a look here, this may help http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=guidelines.cs
