I've been searching for hours, just for a somewhat decent landing page for PPC so I can get started. I'm not looking for anything super expert "supreme"; just something that will get the job done "for now" As I can't afford an expensive landing page design Where do you guys think I can find landing page templates such as for comparison sites so that I can promote affiliate products? Either for free or cheap.
*whistles and looks at his signature* Really though, there are a few LP template type stores like mine where you can buy landing pages for $10-40. If you're not a designer and need something cheap that works, that's what I would recommend. I don't think you're going to find many free, affiliate landing pages lying around. And just so I'm not plugging only myself, here are those sites: www.lptemplates.com www.lpcreations.com www.dirtcheaplandingpages.com
I know you said you can't afford "expensive" designs but trust me, a good landing page design will pay for itself 100 times over.
Right, but the trick is that you're more than likely going to go through 10 good landing pages before you actually find one that works. Most of PPC/affiliate marketing is hit and miss - You have to go through a ton of trial and error before you really find a campaign that sticks. If you'd like, you can invest hundreds of $$ on a new campaign, but odds are, you're going to lose it...So I guess it's a matter of how deep your pockets are
GT hit it right on the spot, I've tried clones of some of the best billion dollar landing pages on other markets, and NOTHING!. I guess if It was easy, everyone would have the perfect landing page. It's going to be a lot of work, and trying out 10 lps before you find the perfect one isn't far fetched. PPC
I would highly recommend a strong landing page to increase conversions. The text contained within the landing page must also be tinkered with until you achieve a good/great quality score.
If you want to pursue affiliate marketing, it's very important for you to learn how to construct your own landing pages. Every landing page should be custom designed for the campaign. Using templates isn't a good idea, unless you plan to modify them to fit your needs, in which instance you might as well start from scratch yourself.
If you want something cheap and most likely working... then search on google for keywords related to the product you want to sell.. Then take design ideas from the current advertisers
also search highly competitive keywords like mortgage, money making, etc... and check out some of those landing pages.
yep I think the best way to do it is look at high paying keywords and see the pages. You know that these people have to be pulling in some type of profit more than likely to keep those pages up so they must be getting some sales as well. Take about 10 of those pages and then compare what is good in them and what is not from your perspective.
