Actually the two mentioned so far is where you will find a most of the crap xhtml/css designers. This is where you find the high quality, standards complient xhtml/css designers - Authentic Jobs. - Michael
Good one!! SimpleBits, the owner of that company wrote the XHTML/CSS of MTV.com and also designed the logos for blog and Google Blog Search. He has also written the XHTML/CSS of several pages of blog and two blogger templates!
I would consider someone from here on the forums. I just need a design and then coded css/xhtml into the script's template system. The script has a pretty good template system so shouldn't be that hard to convert the design over.
Before hiring a designer, ask to look at their portfolio to judge thier skills and to ensure they are suitable.
Depends how much you're willing to pay and would be able to start next week only. Examples: http://www.bensherman.com (any invalid html generated by the back-end coders using .net) http://codepress.co.uk If any good coders are interested in a job, see link in sig.
