Thank you Pat for the forum plug :)

It honestly depends on what you are looking for quality-wise. If you check out allfreelancing.com you will find a services section where you can post for qualified writers to produce content for you. Subsequently, you can also post on DP and see if you can get a writer that way.

Thanks everyone for all the info. very much appreciated. It was initially an ebook I was after, but after some thought I decided I would like to self publish it into a real paperback, but would still need the written work and preperation for the publishing. do you think the same people you mentioned might still be interested?
    thanks again.

It's possible. If you post a detailed explanation of your needs you may be able to find someone to do that for you.

    Hi,
I am willing to ghostwrite for you, if you need it. My rates are extremely moderate. I charge about 2 cents per word written.

Is your project still available? Our lowest rate is HALF A PENNY (.005 cents) per word. Our website is http://www.webmasterlabor.com We have 3 differing programs--from leased writers, to custom content development at regular rates, and extremely discounted custom content development.
