Where to find cheap domain names- under $1?

I've seen people on this site talk about domain names that can be purchased for under $1. Nothing fancy, sites like .biz, .info etc. Where can I do this?

    Thanks for your time :)

    This information might be useful:

You can purchase .info domains from mydomain.com for $1.03 each and around $0.91 each for bulk domains.

Yahoo! is offering (please check with them if the offer is still there as they keep changing it) .com (and other) domains for $2 but you can purchase a single domain per Yahoo! ID.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that you will have to use the coupon code "Bargaincat.com" with mydomain.com for 15% discount (ie $1.03 after discount).

Cannot find them on mydomain.com... ($1.03)

Oh, just seen your edit. Will do.

Anyone have domain sites where you can buy in bulk (50-60 at a time) and get them for less than a dollar?

    Thanks :)

I am so sorry. It seems that mydomain.com has ended the offer that was on for a long time. Infact, I had just bought some domains a few days back with the discounted price. Bad luck!

So $1.19 a domain. That sounds reasonable.

I'm really looking at cheaper though, as part of a business plan I'm going to realise in the next few weeks- should it come off, 50/60 domains at a time would be an understatement. :)

These are usually special offers. I have bought quite a few 99 cent domains from GoDaddy when they were on special...and yes they will each cost me $8.95 to renew.

Yes, it was true a few days back as I had myself bought 4 domains at that cost. But I think the offer has been discontinued now. :(

There are some companies offering that. But not a legit offer, after one year, you'd be bound to buy that domain from them only. So go for some good domain registrar.
