Does anybody know a website where I could find fingerstyle tabs for popular (kind of) songs and/or riffs? Most of the sites I've found so far have only chords or a mix of tabs and chords.
I have signed up to the Tab Pro service on http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ It's a great service for all guitar players as I like to play acoustic guitar myself! It's not 100% free but if you haven't used it before you get a free trial and then you can sign up for the full year for under 20 dollars! They have a lot of tabs and tools on there to help you improve. I know it's sounding like I promote them but I actually don't!...would like to though
I don't know if you tried YouTube, but it's an infinite tutorial all by itself: http://www.youtube.com/results?sear...0.cstaryt..0.0...1ac.1.11.youtube.dOkQK6cK40U Also, have you ever seen Andy McKee playing? Check it out: Every time I watch him, I feel like I don't want to play my Taylor anymore (been playing since I was 7!). That guy rocks!
Thanks. I'll definitely yake a trial run. I'm not really looking for video tutorials. I want plain text tabs which I could print out if necessary.
Yeah, he's great. I particularly like 'Rylynn' by him. Ewan Dobson is well worth a watch on Youtube too. My ultimate favorite has got to be Igor presnyakov though. That guy is a legend!
@ActiveFrost yeah you should take the trial and you can just cancel it if you don't want to continue. Also if it's just tabs that you want to print out, just use the tabs on the Ultimate Guitar site itself. It's the biggest archive I know of. The 'Tab Pro' is an extra service that has tools like 'auto scroll' and you can play along with the music, backing track and change tempo etc aswell as the tab. It's really good in my opinion.
