I'm looking for a proofreader (must be a physician) of health articles on a general health blog. I was looking on writing and health forums, about.com, some freelance sites, etc...If anyone knows for a good place...
Why not advertise on the buy/sell/trade section for starters? If that fails, there are other forums as you said, and finally there's always Craigslist.
That sounds like fun. I think you would definitely need a good dictionary and PDR to pull that job off. Doubt that many physicians would get into the proofreading business unless it payed really well. I would shoot for a chiropractor or a veterinarian. They all go to med school and may be more accessible. Also try colleges, maybe a med student who needs some tuition money?
Your best bet is to try them all. Since you're looking for someone so specific, I would try the freelancing sites as well as free ad placements.
Yes you can either pu up an advertisment here on DP or just use craigslist to find the apt person for your work.
Maybe. I do not need editing of my articles, though. But it has to be physician, since I'm also looking for a writer. I'm just gathering general ideas here.
I saw this thread in the BST section- Medical/ Health related article writer Hello there, I am a MBBS doctor and doing copy writing http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=827939&highlight=health
Many people try to trick you. That ad wants some to input technical knowledge into poor quality writing he got on the cheap. That is not proofreading. proofing is when you have large amounts of text formatted for publication but the typesetting has created a small set of errors that must be corrected.
Yes. Trying posting a thread on Content Creation with your requirements and I am sure you will get your right man.
