I know godaddy and namesilo offers them but godaddy is way to pricey and namesilo, already have all my domain registered under them and want to separate them, as we all dont want to put all are eggs in one basket.

Any suggestions guys that offer free whois protection and is at the range of less than $10.. AND ofcourse totally safe.

There is no such phrase of "totally safe". Once i created a free short url service. Someone created links to underage porn. Name.com told me that i should take down the whole domain and didn't want me to cooperate with them to trace the person with these abnormal preferences (i totally hate these people with this kind of "adult" porn). I took it down and parked it. I thought name.com was safer than GD but looks like there is no registrar that can work with you to solve the problem and not cut it from the root.

child pornography isnt allowed as it is illegal.. Not going that line since I will only do legal adult.. I would understand name.com decision..

Maybe you are right with totally safe, but maybe a company that would not run or disappear in just a few days.

A domain for adult content is exactly the same as a domain for other content, unless you go for an expensive TLD. Just build on a .com at coupon prices.

You're unlikely to get free protection on a cheap domain name, unless you find an offer somewhere.

I'd be interested to know what you mean by "totally safe". From what? If you mean from abuse by people posting unpleasant crap, the only solution is to moderate content. You still have to look at it, but at least you don't get arrested for other people's twisted perversions. :D

forget about the totally safe - meant a reputable company.. sorry about the wordings.

i plan to get .com.. but need company to register.. Actually I can bend my price to maybe $15 as long as they accept adult content and they reputable.. Will just find a coupon and still not going with godaddy..

If you read it from the start, i didn't host or presented anything, just someone shorten his URLs that lead to a related site. Instead of trying to locate these problematic people or give the IPs to the authorities, instead they choose to shutdown the whole domain. Imagine if i go to bitly.com and inject these kind of links, do you think the registrar should take down bitly.com ?

There are no registrars for adult content, just offshore registrar companies or their resellers. If there is a problem they will not be a safe solution too.

All mine are hosted on GoDaddy, never had a problem they didn't fix quickly. But hey, that's just my experience.
