Where to buy an older illustrator at a descent price?

Hi,
do you have any suggestions where someone could by a full version of CS3 or CS4 illustrator.

Not education, trial etc.....

I checked on ebay, older versions are quite hard to find.

And for some reason...every site that advertise "Good" prices look like scams.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe contact a design school that could hook you up with some of their older copies.

You might want to check Adobe's own user forums - I see people selling their older versions there from time to time.
