Hello andrew, you could check out a domain forum like dnforum .com or a domain marketplace like sedo .com

but just because the domain is old does not mean its valuable for seo

the domain starts to become valuable when it is first indexed by search engines.

    good luck

I don't think an old domain will make much of a difference, unless it's already got a lot of backlinks/pr.

Well - try asking DP members if they have any old domain to sell. I think that would be a lot easier. Offer good price - you'll see people rushing to offer whatever they have.

Careful what you buy it could have been used by spammers. One of my sites has a blacklist of 300k spammer domain names.

No, if it has decent backlinks it should retain PR.
