    Yu can get the link from directory, articles, Forums and Bookmarks. try to get backlink from high PR Sites only it will be beneficial for the search engine algorithms.

    I would try to avoid using software. Make sure the text is normal and natural, and you are actually making a statement - contributing to the forum. Other than that, you can build from anywhere. Just aim for quality.
