Where should I go to advertise a free site/service for german speaking kids from 12-18 years. Where will I get most for my money? And the same question for english speaking kids.

I think what login actually wants to know is, not how to make money by advertising but where to go to advertise his site in order to get the best value.

Login, my answer would be there really isn't one answer. Try Adwords. Also... you have two basic direct advertising options, either:

    1. Find a ton of small, quality related sites and spread your budget across a network of them.

    Or

    2. Find a related site, or as best related as possible with huge traffic and pour your money into that 1 site to maximize exposure of your site.

And apart from that just do the usual site marketing.

    - Social networking

    - Video marketing

    - Email marketing

    - Free press releases

Also you can pay for a payed press release to get quality exposure. PRWeb.com is meant to be good. Try that if you have enough cash.

    Good luck.

Find websites that German-speaking kids go to, and buy advertising there.

well i guess.... blog commenting... participating in social networking sites.... Directory submission, search engine submission... etc are some of the basic things which are free and will give your site some exposure... then try reaching out bloggers for reviewing your site (pay them) and as ScottHughes mentioned reach out to sites which are very much related to your niche and work out a link exchange... also check out adwords (study it throughly) if well understood it can give huge traffic...

    Good Luck!!

Go to Profile sites! In the Netherlands we've got Hyves, America myspace (right?)

These are mostly used by young kids! :)

    Good Luck
