where to advertise a poker website?

    Hi!

I have a poker website and I don't know where I could advertise it. I would like to buy some ads on "adwords" and to make it a "sponsored link" but gambling sites are on the black list of google / yahoo / msn.

I have tried exoclick and bidvertiser. I get a few visits from there but they seem to be fake as there are few sign-up. Posting on forums gave me about 70 visits/day and an average of 7 signups and bidvertiser and exoclick make about 130 visits and 3 signups. So you see my problem

What can you recommend? Where could I advertise my poker website
    Thanks in advance

Have you thought about writing poker related articles like tips and strategy that would attract poker players to your site ? After you are done with these you can submit them to article directories too, for some extra traffic.

I would start posting on major poker forums, like twoplustwo.com. Then when you answer a questions you could include your link.

I think you can still advertise gambling sites on the UK version of Yahoo Search Marketing, so your ad would appear on yahoo.co.uk.

Advertise your site on popular poker forums. Just search for poker forums in google and then contact the owners for advertising opportunities.

An E-Book is a good idea as long as you know poker well yourself and its helpful to players.

Advertising on other sites is great, just make sure they are getting traffic and have a lot of pages indexed if you want to increase your ranking.

You should join gambling affiliate forums, like Gamling Affiliatez, Poker Affiliate World and Casino Affiliate Programs for more tips.

If you are creating a post on Gambling Affiliatez I can give you more detailed help from an E-Book I am writing for gambling affiliates.

    Good luck!

How about starting some related different sites on your own. Poker for Dummies, etc etc. Put a backlink on their to your main website.

As far as I know you cannot use Google Adwords to advertise casino related websites at all anymore. Even in international markets.
