Where the traffic comes from?

I see that lots of people here have a directory and I wonder.. where the traffic comes from?
Are you making money (or getting traffic) from other directories (or site owner) that want to be listed or do you really have people browsing your directory?

With so many directories I wonder how many people are using them to get links and how many to get information.

 

There promoted to webmasters basically.

 

There isn't usually any traffic. Because from the webmasters that are submitting their sites.
