I would recommend that you spend some time looking at heatmaps if you can. You don't ultimately need one for your site, but if you want to see what works for other people's sites and why it does heatmaps are a great way to spend your time. It will help you learn why people place things where they do. But ultimately remember, you have to split-test everything so don't just do what another site does - do what they do for a week or so, and then change it up, and then see if what you did first, second, or third works best then stick to it

    Make it above the fold.
And you can use ad links in menu.

Generally, ads work best in top left, so somewhere near the top, and to the left of the content. I see you have the ads on the right though, and quite big, they might get in way of users viewing if their eyes automatically focus on the area around left-middle when a page is loading.

You should also put an ad (the big square adsense banner) on the very top of your single blog post. It works well. Check out makeuseof.com and see how they place the adsense ads =)

I don't think the header ad (on the right side) will work out too well. Having one 336 x 200 or 200 x 200 in your actual content (aligned) might work.

The best location for Google ads varies from page to page, depending on content. Here are a few questions to ask yourself when considering where to position your ads:

    * What is the user trying to accomplish by visiting my site?
    * What do they do when viewing a particular page?
    * Where is their attention likely to be focused?
    * How can I integrate ads into this area without getting in the users' way?
    * How can I keep the page looking clean, uncluttered and inviting?

Put ads block on individual post pages above the fold below the title, if you want to play safe keep one or two line of content between title and ad block. That works best for higher CTR
